BACHELOR OF SECONDARY EDUCATION MAJOR IN ENGLISH

The Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English is designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant competencies to teach English at the secondary level

Students who aspire to teach English at this level take a comprehensive preparatory course aimed at elevating critical and creative thinking through the acquisition of skills in educational linguistics such as morphological analysis, logical syntax construction, and translation.

Competencies in planning, implementation and assessment of linguistic knowledge will be provided in graduated levels for students who will teach writing, listening, speaking and reading on relevant and current social issues in the secondary level.

Learners will be provided competencies to prepare them for international English examinations such as TOIEC, IELTS, and CEFR
